collaborative ecosystems
I Stream approach to partnerships is ecosystem-based. We open up the space for all the actors to re-align around a particular development issue and self-selectively commit to further engagement for the period of a pilot implementation. Such approach dictates new ways of communication and linearity in the exchange of information.
Communication starts at the design stage and continues through prototyping and testing. It ensures not only coordinated action, but also joint learning and learning from each other.
Open source approach to collaboration fosters trust amid competing interests, which is often an overlooked outcome of many pilots.
Pro-bono partnerships are becoming increasingly common from the part of academic, public and private sector representatives.
I Stream has ensured regional and cross-regional collaborations with UN Teams in South Africa and Macedonia, UNDP in Egypt, Armenia, Moldova.
By 2019 I Stream has tapped on the ecosystems of actors around several themes with alternative dispute resolution, youth tech skills and HIV testing on the agenda in 2020.
